At the very end of December I met up with Callie and Jordan for a quick engagement session before they headed back to Ontario.  Gosh, it was cold.  And they were so good about it!  They did an outfit change, walked through piles of snow in shoes that were definitely not winter boots, and went along with whatever I said.  That mixed in with excellent style makes for the perfect shoot!  So excited for their July wedding!!!

We started off with some shots with their little guy, Brooks.  Possibly the cutest child ever. You'll see.

And then Brooks got to go inside and warm up and eat while I kept the other two out in the cold. :)

I don't usually include a lot of ring shots anymore, but guys.  Look at this ring!  The stone is YELLOW!  Ahhhhmazing.

   My fave:

Callie and Jordan, it was so great to meet you and hang out for a bit.  I'll see you in 6 months!!!

melissa koren wilson - A yellow diamond!? And that fancy dress?! I wish I could look that effortlessly gorgeous. And the whole feel of the session is just buttery magic. I love it!
Caitlynn - Oh, goodness! What a picture-perfect family! Callie, you are gorgeous! My favorites are the one of them holding Brooks' hands, the one of Callie looking behind her, black/white twirling (ahh!), and that last one. Love everything about this!
Tsone - That might be the coolest sled I've ever seen. Beautiful family, beautiful couple :-)
Abbey - Um, hello Brooke! You are adorable! And this couple - ugh. Their style is killing me.. so GORGEOUS! Seriously love all of these!
Tara - Love this entire session! Although it was cold, this couple made these portraits feel so warm and loving. These are gorgeous- just beautiful photography!
Michele - This session and these people are gorgeous! Love the pops of color in the snow, but also love the clean look of the white wardrobe in the snow. And that sled....amazing!
